seeking experts - seeking connections - seeking ideas

Creative people, entrepreneurs, business consultants, publicity experts, inventors, idea people... I ask you to connect here. A new "meet up" group is forming. I'll blog about that here on The New Symposium.

What is the purpose of this blog?
To bring my business vision into focus, and to allow it to become a shared vision where entrepeneurs can work together to create something entirely new and very successful.
This THING that I see is a literal CENTER for gathering and assembling new ideas, a place where new businesses SPIN OFF. Where CREATIVE ENERGY is amassed and PURPOSE is achieved. Where VISION is found and focused. This is going to be powerful.

These are the principals that are defining my business vision...

    antonym: chance, accident, fortune, luck
  • vision
    antonym: blindness, stumbling, people pleasing
  • position
    antonym: out of place, outside, skewed

I purpose to create a "now"
business development model
that is VISION driven.

My hope is that others will help to bring my vision into focus, and open up new opportunities for themselves and others by coming into position within this vision.

That is the purpose of this blog. To explore new ideas within the framework of this vision.

First, every entrepreneur must have a vision.

Once solidly defined (brought into focus) this vision will determine key decisions.
This is another way to describe BRANDING.

KEY DECISIONS
1.Business systems

3.Marketing (perhaps this should be #1)
4.Sales
5.Research and development
6.Communication catalysts (to connect all of the above)
7.Continuous improvement, a culture of learning, reimagining
8.Synergy: New ideas, new businesses/ventures/alliances/partnerships

My business services menu is in development.
This menu will include "courses" to develop a successful micro business from first concept to grand opening, and then go from there; and to take an existing business into new dimensions of agility and profitability. This menu will be available on The New Symposium - watch for it.

A "women's business development" niche is being defined.
One aspect of my business development center will be a specialization in womens' unique capacities for creativity and success in business. From low-income or no-income to already established business women, we will streamline a "success center" that will spin off creative and inventive microbusinesses, and women will achieve a sustainable income.

I am looking for key people to put in position.
This search is multi-fold: first, I need the right people to come into partnership with me as I solidify my business plan. Almost simultaneously, I want to find creative people and savvy business experts who would like to achieve premium placement on the services menu.

e-commerce

I am exploring the new e-commerce frontier. It's a little overwhelming! I'd like to have a storefront operational very shortly - how do I take my business support services and turn them into something sale-able (salable?) on the internet? This is my challenge of the week. I am my own consultant!
